Coast Music Productions and COAST are excited to announce a new global record deal with German based India Media Group. 

The band will be releasing their album “10.2” in early summer, a reboot of their 2019 fan club release, which featured re-recorded versions of their best songs.  All songs come in re-mastered versions and the pack is complimented by 2 previously unreleased new tracks.

A European tour to promote the album is expected later in the year.


Although COAST have been recording & performing music for over 10 years, it may surprise their massive fan base that their career to this point has always been driven independently, grown mainly by the band themselves.  Of course, this has limitations in reaching wider, global audiences, always an aspiration for the band. The 2019 release of the album “10” caught the attention of IMG who were very keen to sign the band for a global re-release of the album.

About COAST

COAST are a class British rock band, founded by brothers Paul Eastham and Chris Barnes in 2009.  COAST songs are about people and place, about history-making, achievements and events. Their lush, evocative and expansive rhythmic soundscapes are the perfect complement to singer Paul’s effortlessly powerful yet delicately emotional vocals, and Finlay Wells’ soaring, melodic lead guitar. 

A prime slot at Denmark’s legendary Tønder Festival in 2010 was the springboard for the band’s early career, wowing audiences at festivals across the UK, Scandinavia and continental Europe. By the time their 2nd album ‘The Turning Stone’ was released in 2011, the band were receiving extensive international radio play and continued to expand their international touring base.

In 2019 the band marked a decade, since their debut release, with ‘TEN’, a collection of new songs, re-imaginings of classic COAST tracks and previously unreleased live songs.

Now in 2021, the band has set up a new company, Coast Music Productions to streamline all of their future activities and with this record deal on the IMG (Germany) label, Coast are set for the next chapter in their career!

The “10.2“ album is planned for release in the early summer of ’21, preceded by a string of single tracks and videos. Expect tour dates towards the end of the year - Covid permitting- and a new album the following year.
